Czechs say gas supplies from Russia halted

Gas supplies through the main import and transit pipeline from Russia to the Czech Republic and Western Europe stopped completely overnight, the Czech importer RWE Transgas said on Wednesday.
"The main pipeline from the east was closed from midnight. Supplies are at zero for Slovakia and the Czech Republic," a RWE spokesman said. (Reuters)
