Report: Israeli tank kills 8 Palestinians in Gaza

An Israeli tank shell killed at least eight Palestinians in the north of the Gaza Strip on Saturday, Palestinian medical officials said.

The shell struck a street in Jabalya, a refugee camp north of the city of Gaza, the medics said. All of the dead were believed to be from the same family. The Israeli army said it had no comment. (Reuters)
