Iran says not seeking atomic weapons

Iran reiterated on Monday that it was not seeking atomic weapons, while a US military official said the day before it had enough materials to make at least one.
"All these statements are groundless," said the spokesman of Iranian diplomat Hassan Ghashghavi in a press briefing in response to the comments of the US Chief of Staff Michael Mullen. (AFP)
