Iran to host international conference for Palestinians

Iran will host an international conference in support of the Palestinians with the participation of 80 delegations from around the world on Wednesday and Thursday, IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday. The conference will be held in response to the international donors conference held in Egypt on Monday, in which some $4.5 billion were raised.
Iranian parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said that the conference would focus on the situation of the residents of the Gaza Strip following Operation Cast Lead. Larijani added that an Egyptian delegation will also take part in the conference. (Dudi Cohen)
