Peres: EU should not reject upgrade of ties wih Israel
President Shimon Peres met in Prague on Tuesday with Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek, whose country currently holds the EU presidency.
In the meeting, which deal with Israel's national security situation vis-à-vis Gaza, Peres said it would be a "mistake for the European Union to turn a cold shoulder on upgrading ties with Israel because of our fight against terror.." (Ynet)
