Regional Development Minister Silvan Shalom (Likud) called to take the broadest action possible against North Korea because "Iran and her likes are looking at what the United States and the world will do."
According to Shalom, the launch of the North Korean missile "undermines world stability, and steps must be taken to bring an end to the threat North Korea poses to Japan. The sanctions must be severe and meaningful." (Roni Sofer)
