Vandals desecrate Christian cemetery in West Bank

Palestinian security officials say vandals have desecrated about 60 graves in a Christian cemetery in a West Bank village.

Police spokesman Adnan Damiri says there was no claim of responsibility for the destruction Sunday. The vandalized cemetery is in the predominantly Christian village of Jiffna, northeast of the West Bank town of Ramallah. (AP)
