UN considering fining Israel for damage during Gaza war

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said he was considering demanding that Israel pay a fine of $11 million for damage it did to UN facilities in Gaza during the IDF offensive there in January.
Ban says the fine was recommended by a committee elected to investigate damage done by Israel to UN structures during Operation Cast Lead. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
