Spokesman: PM to call for disarmed Palestinian state
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will call for "a disarmed Palestinian state along side a Jewish state," said Nir Heffetz, a spokesman for the prime minister's office, on Sunday.
"This is a very brave speech. It's an act of leadership. It will set two conditions for Palestinian statehood: international guarantees for Israel and recognition of Israel as a Jewish state," he said. (Roni Sofer)
