Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who is currently visiting France, said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policy speech was an important step that enables progress towards a diplomatic agreement in the next two years.
"Throughout all this talk the interests of the State of Israel were preserved and the process will also include the necessary timeframe for the Palestinians to build up law enforcement. We will help in any way we can, including building the economy from the ground up and freedom of movement to strengthen the positive bodies among the Palestinians," he said. (Miri Chason, Paris)
