US rejects Iran claims of interfering in poll

The US State Department strongly rejected Iranian claims on Wednesday that Washington was interfering in the electoral process in Iran.

Switzerland's ambassador to Iran, who represents US interests in Tehran, was called in along with other nations' envoys on Wednesday to protest at what Iran said was "interventionist" statements by the United States over the disputed election. (Reuters)
