Livni against property reform: Israel is not just piece of land
In a speech at the Jewish Agency assembly in Jerusalem, Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni spoke against proposed property reforms in Israel.
"I believe that the government Israel must maintain its control over the lands of the state," said Livni. "At the end of the day, Israel is not just a piece of land. This is not real estate, but the future of the State of Israel and the nation of Israel." (Ronen Medzini)
