An Egyptian court has ratified the death sentence of an Egyptian real state mogul and his associate who were convicted in the killing of a Lebanese pop star.
Talaat Moustafa was convicted of paying a former Egyptian police officer $2 million to kill Suzanne Tamim while she was in Dubai. Authorities say Moustafa and Tamim were lovers. After consulting with Egypt's grand mufti, the judge Thursday ratified the verdict that he issued on May 21. (AP)
