Barak: Meeting with Mitchell was good, but differences remain

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said at the end of his meeting with US special envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell in Washington Tuesday that the meeting dealt not only with the issue of Israeli construction in the West Bank, but also President Barack Obama's regional peace plan.
"The meeting was conducted in a very good atmosphere, although the differences between us remain," said Barak. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
