Mir-Hossein Mousavi, the defeated Iranian presidential candidate, said that the reformist struggle in his country will not stop once the final vote tally is published by the Guardian Council of the Constitution.
"It is our historic responsibility to continue our protest and not to abandon the effort to realize the rights of the people," said Mousavi. Mousavi leveled harsh criticism at the elected council, saying, "From now on, we will have a government that will operation in the most unhealthy conditions in terms of its connection with the people. There are many in the society, including myself, who do not accept its political legitimacy." (Dudi Cohen)
