Iranian religious official: British embassy workers to be put on trial

Chairman of the Guardian Council of the Constitution in Iran Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said that some of the British embassy workers being detained for involvement in recent election riots will be put on trial. The workers to be tried are all Iranian citizens who took part in the opposition demonstrations against the recent election results. (AFP)
