Bomb damages McDonalds restaurant in Greece

A bomb exploded outside a central Athens McDonalds restaurant early Friday, causing extensive damage but no injuries in what Greek authorities suspect was an attack by resurgent far-left militants.

Although the McDonalds restaurant is on the ground floor of an office block that also houses a tax office, police spokesman Panayiotis Stathis said the bomb was clearly intended for the fast-food restaurant - which was closed at the time. (AP)
