Allenby Bridge to operate 24 hours a day for trial period

Israel will open the Allenby Bridge on its border with Jordan for 24 hours a day in order to ease the Palestinian population's life, a ministerial committee headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Regional Development Minister Silvan Shalom decided.
The Allenby Bridge currently closes every day at 8 pm. The initiative is part of the plan to remove roadblocks and promote economic projects in the Palestinian Authority. (Roni Sofer)
