An IDF force patrolling east of the West Bank city of Qalqilya uncovered a pipe bomb and dummy explosives near the security fence. Military sappers preformed a controlled detonation of the explosives.
Meanwhile, IDF forces operating south of the West Bank city of Hebron found a four-inch knife during a routine vehicle search of Palestinian cars. The knife was confiscated and the Palestinian was turned over to security forces for further interrogation. (Efrat Weiss)
