Stabbing attack thwarted in J'lem
A stabbing attack was thwarted in Jerusalem. Border Guard officers assigned to the Jerusalem area arrested a Palestinian carrying a 16 cm (6.2 inches) knife at Ras Hamis crossing. During interrogations, the Palestinian admitted that he planned to enter Jerusalem and carry out an attack at Shoefam crossing, north of the city.
Another two Palestinians accompanying the suspect were also arrested. (Efrat Weiss)
