100 French tourists hospitalized for possible food poisoning

Some 100 French tourists in their 20s were hospitalized on Friday after showing symptoms of food poisoning.
Eli Peretz of Magen David Adom said 40 were evacuated to hospital in Tiberias and the rest were sent to hospitals in Afula and Safed. Peretz said the source of the poisoning was most likely in food served to the tourists in southern Israel on Thursday. (Ahiya Raved)
