15-year-old Palestinian arrested for car theft claims to be 11
Police have arrested a 15-year old Palestinian on suspicion that he stole a car in central Israel. The youth attempted to flee from police, and after he was arrested claimed he could not be tried because he was 11 years old.
During an interrogation police discovered the youth was 15. He will be brought before the court for the possible remand of his arrest on Sunday. (Avi Cohen)
