The official Leonard Cohen forum announced it will start selling tickets for the singer's Tel Aviv concert this coming Friday, July 31. The sale, which is offered only to registered members of the forum, will last until Saturday evening.

A messages posted on the forum's online board noted that five telephone lines will be opened for the sale, and that each member will be entitled to buy a maximum of four tickets. The price of tickets has yet to be published.

According to the message, all the proceeds from the September 24 concert in Ramat Gan Stadium, titled "A concert for Reconciliation, Tolerance and Peaceā€œ, will go towards a newly-established foundation to benefit Israeli and Palestinian organizations working for reconciliation.

The ticket sale in Israel will open on Saturday evening, August 1 at the Lean ticket office. According to estimates, ticket prices will range between NIS 400-500 and more.

Contradicting reports have been published in recent weeks about Cohen's show in Israel. About a month ago the announcement about the concert was removed from the Canadian singer's website, but the show's producers in Israel insisted it has not been cancelled.

Two weeks ago it was reported that Cohen's concert in Ramallah has been called off after the singer refused to cancel his Israel concert. The singer has also recently been faced with pressure from pro-Palestinian groups not to perform in the country.
