2 women hospitalized in serious condition due to 'swine flu' complications

Two women aged 50 and 62 were hospitalized in serious condition in the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba and the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, as a result of complications related to the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu. One of the women suffers from chronic illnesses and the other from a heart condition.

 

The Health Ministry informed that so far 20 serious cases of swine flu were detected in Israel. One patient, Shimon Azran died in the Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat over the weekend. (Meital Yasur-Beit Or)
