Lieberman: Chavez cooperates with radical branches of Islam

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who is on an official visit to Columbia accused Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez of cooperating with "radical branches of Islam."
In an interview with the Columbian daily El Tiempo, Lieberman addressed the existence of Hezbollah cells in Columbia and Venezuela and said that "Israel remembers the attacks (against Jewish targets) in Buenos Aires. We see how close Chavez is to Iran and naturally, we would like to prevent future attacks against Israelis." (AFP)
