Abbas calls Hamas 'princes of darkness' at Fatah congress
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas verbally attacked Hamas at Fatah's congress taking place in Bethlehem, calling the organization "princes of darkness who divide the homeland and the nation, and who damage democracy by preventing Fatah members from participating in the congress."
Hamas announced in recent weeks that it will not allow Fatah members from the Gaza Strip to attend the conference being held in the West Bank until the PA releases Hamas operatives being detained in the West Bank. (Ali Waked)
