Hamas slams Fatah's reelection of Abbas
Hamas responded critically to the reelection of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as Fatah's leader. Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri says the move will not alter Fatah's political position.
"The reelection of Abu Mazen is the continuation of Fatah's political and organizational downfall and a continuation of the policy of dependence on foreign authorities from which the organization suffers," he said. (Ali Waked)
