Council of Europe to create forum for Israeli, Palestinian representatives

The Council of Europe's Political Committee decided in Paris to create a three-way forum for talks between Israeli, Palestinian and European parliament members.

Head of the committee's Israeli's mission, Knesset Member Yohanan Plesner (Kadima) said, "The forum will not discuss core issues, but practical topics which bear a joint interest such as health, environment and water. The forum will create a framework for the solution of problems and buildingn of confidence between the sides." (Roni Sofer)
