VIDEO - Police cleared for publication on Tuesday security camera footage showing a group of eight Arabs assaulting a Jewish man at the Givati parking lot near Jerusalem's Old City.

During the incident, which took place on Friday, the Jewish man, who said he felt threatened, fired shots at the Arabs, lightly injuring two of them.

Security camera footage of incident

The footage shows the Jewish man and Arabs exchange words, after which some of the Arabs begin to kick him.

The Arabs then appear to leave the man alone, but can then be seen turning back and walking in his direction once again. One of them is filmed spitting at the Jew. The security camera did not document the Jewish man opening fire.

The man was arrested and later released to house arrest.
