Abbas calls to probe decision to halt Goldstone discussion
Palestinian sources reported that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called for the establishment of a committee that will investigate the Palestinian envoy to the UN Human Rights Council's decision to pull its request to discuss the Goldstone Report.
According to a senior PLO official, Abbas's decision came following deliberations among Palestinian leaders. (Ali Waked)
