French foreign minister: 'medium optimism' on Iran

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner says there is a "wind of medium optimism" over Iran and countries negotiating with Tehran don't want to talk of sanctions.

Kouchner says that "something happened" in talks last week in Geneva between Iran and six nations over Tehran's nuclear program and "we no longer want to talk of sanctions." (AP)
