Abbas cabinet says will confront Israel; protests flare
The Palestinian Authority called the Palestinian people "to confront Israel" following clashes with between Arab protestors and security forces in Temple Mount and east Jerusalem.
Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad's cabinet published a statement in which it condemned the "lasting attempts made by extremist settlers to invade the al-Aqsa mosque compound and perform religious ceremonies." (Ali Waked)
