Egyptian FM: Hamas, Fatah to sign treaty by month's end

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said Monday that the Palestinian factions are set to sign a reconciliation treaty by October 26.
Gheit, who met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Cairo, said that "The factions (namely Hamas and Fatah) have agreed to meet on October 25 so we can sign the agreement by the next day." (AFP)
