Abbas convenes PA security in bid to display business as usual
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas convened the Palestinian Authority's security forces in his office in Ramallah in order to discuss general security in the West Bank.
The meeting was apparently intended to display business as usual in light of the harsh criticism against Abbas following his refusal to request a UN debate on the Goldstone report, which claims Israel committed war crimes in Gaza. (Ali Waked)
