Livni to Turkish TV: War is against terror, not Palestinians

Opposition Chairwoman MK Tzipi Livni gave an interview Monday to Turkish state television during which she emphasized that the relations between Turkey and Israel "are not connected to the type of government serving in Jerusalem and it is not an issue of coalition or opposition."
"I am saying to the people of Turkey and their leaders: Supporting the war on terror is not an anti-Palestinian act – it is an anti-terrorism act," said Livni. "Hamas does not represent the national aspirations of the Palestinians. It is not acting on their behalf or promoting them." (Attila Somfalvi)
