Egypt to Hamas: We won't wait forever for Palestinian truce deal
Egyptian Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Husam Zaki said in an interview to the al-Arabiya network that his country would not wait forever for a reconciliation agreement between the Palestinian factions, following new reservations raised by Hamas and its request to postpone the signing date of the accord.
Parties were scheduled to sign the agreement on October 26, however Hamas requested to postpone the date and blamed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of surrendering to US and Israeli pressures concerning the UN debate on the Goldstone Report. (AFP)
