Livni asks Solana to place time limit on talks with Iran

None

Opposition chairwoman Tzipi Livni met in Jerusalem with the EU's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, and said that international accords forbidding Iran from developing a nuclear weapon were insufficient. She added that the dialogue with the country should not be allowed to go on for much longer.

Regarding the Goldstone report Livni said, "Europe knows the significance of a country protecting its citizens, and we expect it not to accept a comparison between defensive army forces and terrorists." (Roni Sofer)
