Soldier awarded medal for killing Mercaz Harav terrorist

Cpt. David Shapira, who killed the terrorist in the Mercaz Harav terror attack in Jerusalem in March 2008, received a medal of honor Tuesday from Central Command Chief Gabi Shamni for his work.
Two months ago, Shapira's cousin, Sgt. Moshe Pelser, received a medal of honor for killing a terrorist who was in the midst of carrying out a tractor attack in July 2008 in Jerusalem. (Hanan Greenberg)
