Noam and Aviva Shalit, parents of captive soldier Gilad Shalit are taking part in the opening ceremony of the Desert Queen expedition at the Erez crossing near Gaza.
"Just like your journey, our journey began not far from here, 1,221 long days ago and it continues, and it is long and exhausting, and we still cannot see its end," Noam Shalit said at the opening ceremony of the expedition held under the banner: "Gilad Shalit, where are you child?"
