Likud slams Livni's conduct on drought tax

Likud MK Ofir Akunis criticized Kadima Chairwoman Tzipi Livni for failing to renounce MK Ronit Tirosh's calls to boycott the "drought tax".
Akunis, head of Likud's response team said, "As long as Ms. Livni remains silent, slogans of clean politics dissolve in the test of reality. When members of her party called for a tax revolt, Livni should have been the first to condemn this anti-democratic move." (Amnon Meranda)
