Bill to seize terrorists' houses passed in preliminary reading

None

The Knesset plenum passed the preliminary reading of a bill allowing the confiscation of assets or residential homes of whoever committed a terrorist act, even if the person was not convicted or indicted for committing the act.

MK Danny Danon, who initiated the bill, said, "Because a suicide bomber cannot be convicted, in cases in which there is no doubt who the terrorist was, it will be possible to seize his assets and his house without a conviction." (Amnon Meranda)
