More than 200 activists protesting against the separation fence at the West Bank village of Naalin, near Ramallah, managed to collapse part of the cement barrier in the village.
The collapsed section is said to be 10 meters (11 yards) long, 8 meters (9 yards) tall, and weighing a few tons. A spokesman on behalf of the protestors said that a few of them were injured by rubber bullets. The spokesman also said the action was carried out in accordance with legal rulings and was meant to mark 20 years to the collapse of the Berlin Wall. (Ali Waked)
