Peres: Weizmann taught us to prefer vision to interest
President Shimon Peres spoke Sunday at a state memorial service for former President Chaim Weizmann and said he was one of the most influential figures in Zionism at his time.
Peres spoke about the relationship between Weizmann and then-Prime Minister David Ben Gurion, saying the two worked well together despite their differences, "teaching us to prefer vision to interest." (Ronen Medzini)
