Abdullah: Negotiation deadlock like 'walking into abyss'

Jordanian King Abdullah warned against a continuation of the current deadlock in the peace process between the Israelis and the Palestinians saying that it is like "walking into an abyss."
"If there is no progress, if there is no horizon, I am concerned for Palestine, for the entire region," said King Abdullah in an interview with London-based newspaper al-Hayyat. The king called upon Israel "to understand the status of Jerusalem amongst Arabs, Muslims, and Christians, and not to play with fire." (Roee Nahmias)
