Sarkozy encourages Abbas 'to make efforts for peace'

French President Nicolas Sarkozy spoke on the telephone with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and tried to encourage him to take act in favor of the Palestinians and in the favor of peace.
In their conversation, Sarkozy committed to provide full support for the rehabilitation of peace talks with Israel according to the conditions agreed upon between the two parties and the international community. (AFP)
