Stones thrown at Kosovo PM's motorcade ahead of vote

Several people hurled stones at the motorcade of Kosovo's prime minister near the town of Decani in western Kosovo, but Hashim Thaci was not hurt in the attack, police said on Wednesday.

A police statement said three people were arrested and initial, unconfirmed reports, said gunfire was heard in the vicinity. Thaci's party was holding an election rally ahead of Sunday's local elections when his convoy was attacked. (Reuters)
