Hamas opposes Palestinian declaration of state

Hamas has released a statement Tuesday in which it expresses its objection to the Palestinian Authority's effort to gather international support of a unilateral declaration of state.

The statement noted that the declaration should be a result of the end of occupation through resistance, and not one made by the PA's president following political failure. (AFP)
