The US said it does not consider Iranian Foreign Minister Manochehr Mottaki statement according to which his country would not export its enriched uranium for further processing as Tehran's official response to the UN plan aimed at preventing Iran from potentially building nuclear weapons.
"What was said today doesn't inspire our confidence" that Iran will accept the proposal that was tentatively agreed to in Geneva," State Department spokesman Ian C. Kelly said. (AP)
