Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is salted to announce during Sunday's cabinet meeting that he will not form a new committee to select an attorney general.
Ynet learned on Friday that Netanyahu has decided that the government will select the next attorney general in some two weeks' time out of a list of four candidates that got three votes in the previous committee, which resigned after failing to make a decision. The four candidates are: Attorney Yehuda Weinstein, Professor Yedidia Stern, Professor Dafna Barak-Erez and Attorney Zvi Agmon. (Attila Somfalvi)
