US security sources say Texas shooting was terror plot

The Fort Hood military base shooting committed by Major Nidal Hasa was a terror attack, and was not carried out by an individual with personal motives, according to US security sources.
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services Senator Carl Levin said he intends to examine the correspondence between Hasan and the September 11 terrorists' "spiritual advisor", in which they discussed transferring funds for operational purposes. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
